Midterm Week

It is that time of the semester at Pace where students are getting ready for their class midterms. Normally midterms happen towards the later part of October to early November depending on the professor. Many students at pace find themselves running around not knowing what to do and either how to go about really applying themselves. What some students don’t know is that the library is open till 2 am an during test its open 24 hours. The library is a good resource for students to use when it comes to studying and working with other students as well with group work and other things that allow students to be successful.

“Being able to not only work but also get things done without too much of the distractions and its open late,” said John Sheridan a senior at Pace.

Sheridan has attended Pace for all four years and does most of his work in the Library. The library is able to provide a meekness for Sheridan as he spends on average 15+ hours throughout the week. Midterms are important for students to apply themselves and do well on as a jump start before finals.  The on campus library has a resource center, a quiet section located on the second floor, and a tutoring center for students on the top floor.

Sometimes the library gets crowded with many students around this time but more times than not it is a meek area for students to get things done. As midterms quickly approach students should use their time wisely.
