It’s A Bonfire

This past weekend held the homecoming activities at Pace starting with the Volleyball game. Pace’s women’s volleyball team hosted Adelphi University from Long Island, New York. This matchup was important as Pace’s women’s volleyball team was able to rally past Adelphi with a win to start off the big weekend right. Pace lead in all statistics with kills  and assists. Women’s volleyball are 13-4 and 1-2 in conference and will play against Southern Connecticut University on Tuesday night at 7 in Goldstein Fitness Center. Ensuing after the volleyball game al the sports teams at Pace came together to start the annual parade down to the Wilcox Parking Lot to partake in the Bon Fire and the festivities. Upon arrival, there were food trucks while the flames put on and controlled by the local Fire Department. The fire left students and athletes in amazement as they gazed at the flames soaring in the air. The food trucks had various authentically cooked hamburgers, fries, pizza, and even a candy truck that served cotton candy and much more. These were all for students and staff. Towards the end the dance team performed for students and for all in attendance to see. As the night came to a closing the next day on Saturday would be for those who would attend Pace men’s football team which would kickoff at 1 in the afternoon against Southern Connecticut University. Pace Football has yet to win a game this season but is on the come up.
